Coldplay will release its first live CD and DVD in nine years on November 20th, according to the band's publicist. Titled Live 2012, the film and album document the British quartet's tour in support of its fifth album, Mylo Xyloto, and includes footage from Coldplay shows in Paris, Montreal and at the U.K.'s Glastonbury Festival.

Coldplay frontman Chris Martin said in a statement, "The Mylo Xyloto tour has been the most fun we've ever had as a band. It's felt very uplifting right from the start . . . mainly because of the amazing audiences that we've been playing for. Over the years, our crowd has become more and more a part of the concert itself. They're loud, diverse, full of soul, and make the songs sound much better than we can on our own. We wanted to try to bottle the incredible feeling that they give us, and hence our concert film."

Live 2012 will be available in the U.S. on CD/DVD, Blu-ray/CD and digitally.

Premium cable network Epix will premiere the tour film as an "Epix Original Concert Event in the U.S. on TV, online at EpixHD.com, and on Epix apps on hundreds of mobile devices.

Coldplay has performed for more than three million people since launching the Mylo Xyloto tour in June 2011. The 2012 portion of the trek is the top-grossing tour so far of 2012, earning $99.7 million from its North American and European arena and stadium runs.

The band is currently on the road in Europe and will finish out the year with stadium shows in New Zealand and Australia in November.
