The eighth studio effort from the Black Keys leads a list of the most anticipated rock albums of 2013 compiled by MTV News. The other acts featured on the list include Arcade Fire, the Thom Yorke/Flea supergroup Atoms For Peace, Kings Of Leon, My Chemical Romance, Nine Inch Nails, Paramore, Pearl Jam, Queens Of The Stone Age and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.

Some of the albums already have release dates, such as Atoms For Peace's Amok, which is due out on February 25th.

The Black Keys will begin working on the follow-up to 2011's El Camino this month, with the album tentatively set to arrive in the spring.

The first Yeah Yeah Yeahs album since 2009's It's Blitz will also emerge sometime this spring.

Paramore's self-titled new disc will come out on April 9th, with a single called "Now" headed to radio this month.

Release dates for other acts, such as My Chemical Romance, Nine Inch Nails and Pearl Jam, are less certain.

Meanwhile, the heavier-leaning website Loudwire has polled its readers for their most anticipated albums of the next 12 months, with the debut album from Disturbed frontman David Draiman's new band Device snagging 38 percent of the vote to take the lead. Second to Device was the new one from Avenged Sevenfold, which earned 27 percent of the vote.

New offerings from Tool, Black Sabbath, Alter Bridge, Bullet For My Valentine, Rob Zombie, Stone Sour, Buckcherry and others all lagged far behind, with none of them reaching 10 percent of the vote.
