Kings Of Leon drummer Nathan Followill and his wife, musician Jessie Baylin, welcomed a daughter named Violet Marlowe into the world on Wednesday (December 26th) in Nashville, according to Billboard. A band rep said that Violet was born at 4:01 p.m. and weighed seven pounds, 13 ounces. Followill wrote on Twitter, "I can proudly announce the birth of my sweet angel Violet Marlowe Followill. My heart has been stolen and it feels so good."
This is the first child for the couple, who married in 2009.
Violet joins a growing number of Followill cousins: frontman Caleb Followill and his wife, model Lily Aldridge, welcomed a little girl named Dixie Pearl earlier this year, while guitarist Matthew Followill and wife Johanna Bennett had a young son named Knox Cameron in 2011.
Bassist Jared Followill, who got married to model Martha Patterson in September, recently told BBC Radio One that the Kings were "starting to get the ball rolling" on their sixth studio album.
