Three Days Grace will release its fourth album, Transit Of Venus on October 2nd, and frontman Adam Gontier told us that the themes of this album are very similar to those of the band's last effort, 2009's Life Starts Now: "I think this record just does carry on from the last record. You know, the last record, all of us had been through a lot, we lost family members and that sort of thing. And this record, I think, continues on just with the idea that you have to move on and be happy, and there's nothing you can do to change what is going to happen, and we've all realized that over the years -- whatever's gonna happen is gonna happen, and you have to deal with it."
2009's Life Starts Now included three chart-topping rock singles: "Break," "The Good Life," and "World So Cold."
The first single from Transit Of Venus, "Chalk Outline," has vaulted into the Active Rock Top 20 after just two weeks of release.
Three Days Grace will play at Summerfest in Sudbury, Ontario on Saturday (August 25th), the Rock Allegiance festival in Hershey, Pennsylvania on September 1st and the Pain In The Grass festival in Seattle on September 29th.
Following that, the group will launch a 14-date club tour on October 8th in Dallas, wrapping up in Nashville on October 28th.
