Muse frontman Matt Bellamy has told England's Absolute Radio that he and fiancee Kate Hudson have managed to avoid a lot of sleepless nights with their one-year-old son Bingham. Bellamy explained, "I've been told I'm extremely lucky and I've got no idea what it's like for other people. The first six weeks, obviously he was up every three or four hours but after the second month he just seems to be going down at 10 o'clock at night and getting up about six so I think we're very, very lucky."
Bellamy added, "He's been a really good sleeper, even with the moving around, he doesn't seem to be affected by jet lag either. We've gone between LA and London and back a couple of times here and there, but he copes with it very well."
Muse's upcoming album, The 2nd Law, features a recording of Bingham's heartbeat, made while the baby was still in the womb, on the track "Follow Me," which Bellamy wrote for his son.
The first single from the album, called "Madness," arrived earlier this week. The album is due out October 2nd.
