Staind frontman Aaron Lewis slammed a member of the audience for throwing mud during the band's set this past Saturday (August 18th) at the Edgefest VIII festival in Little Rock, Arkansas. According to Blabbermouth, several fans were seen hurling mud onto the stage before Lewis took a moment to address the crowd. Pointing to one especially disruptive concertgoer, he said, "So, obviously we're children and we can't play in the mud. You in the baseball hat right there, with the f***ing long hair that's hiding his face, I see you lump up one more mudball and throw it at the f***ing stage, I'm gonna have every motherf***er around you kick the f***ing s*** out of you. Yeah, you right there. F***in' moron."
Video footage of the incident has been posted online.
Staind is currently touring alongside Godsmack, Shinedown and others on the Rockstar Energy Uproar Festival tour, which pulls into Tinley Park, Illinois on Wednesday (August 22nd).
Staind issued a new concert DVD and Blu-ray, titled Live From Mohegan Sun, last week. The concert was recorded and filmed in high definition at the Mohegan Sun Casino in Montville, Connecticut on November 25, 2011, during Staind's initial bout of touring for its self-titled seventh album.
Lewis recently said that Staind will go on hiatus after finishing its upcoming touring commitments, but insisted that the band is not breaking up.
