Theory Of A Deadman has announced a new string of fall headlining tour dates in support of the band's most recent album, The Truth Is . . . . The dates, which begin in early September and stretch into late November, will find the Canadian act teaming up with Habitat for Humanity to sell $5 bracelets at their shows to benefit the cause and contribute towards a Theory-sponsored Habitat construction of a new home this fall. Theory recently filmed a video to promote this campaign.

While Theory stays busy on the road, frontman Tyler Connolly told us that one thing the band doesn't do on tour is write new music: "We never write on the road. It's kind of weird. We kind of come out here and just focus on press and touring. I also think it kind of keeps it fresh - you know, you play the same 17, 18 songs every night, most likely whatever you write is gonna sound like one of those 17 songs. So it's almost like you wait 'til the tour cycle's over and you go home and you decompress, and then stuff that's gonna come out is gonna be fresh, rather than writing stuff when you're playing music all day."

Theory has released the fourth single from The Truth Is . . . , called "Gentleman," this week. It follows the Active Rock hit radio tracks "Hurricane," "Lowlife" and "Bitch Came Back."

The Truth Is . . . , which has sold over 220,000 copies, followed up 2008's million-selling Scars & Souvenirs.
