Muse has unveiled details of a special box set edition of its upcoming sixth album, The 2nd Law. The set will be packaged with a liquid crystal, heat sensitive lid, exclusive artwork and a special bookpack featuring both the album on CD and a "making-of" documentary about the project on DVD. Also included will be the album on double heavyweight vinyl, three art prints and a high-definition digital copy of the 13-track set. The price for the set will be approximately $94 in U.S. currency.

Anyone who pre-orders The 2nd Law in any format from the band's official website will also get access to two exclusive videos. One, for the song "The 2nd Law: Unsustainable," will be delivered as soon as the order is placed. The second, for "The 2nd Law: Isolated System," will arrive on October 1st.

"Unsustainable" has already stirred controversy among Muse fans when a clip was posted online that showed a dubstep influence in the song.

Frontman Matthew Bellamy said about the track, "The moshpit has moved from guitars and gone towards the laptop, so with that song we're trying to see if we can challenge the laptop. We created something that was dubsteppy but we wanted to see if we could do it with real instruments."

The video for "The 2nd Law: Unsustainable" is described as the full and updated version of the album trailer, which also includes a preview of "The 2nd Law: Isolated System," an original film cut to the audio of that track. The first video has already been posted online by fans pre-ordering the record.
