Korn bassist Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu and his wife Dena are expecting the birth of their second child this month, according to Loudwire. But since the baby may apparently be arriving sooner than expected -- says a post at Korn's website -- Fieldy will miss a number of dates on Korn's European tour this month. His fill-in will be Mudvayne bass player Ryan Martinie, who certainly could use the work since singer Chad Gray and guitarist Greg Tribbett left that group hanging in limbo four years ago while they went off and played in Hellyeah.
The statement at Korn's website said, "The Korn guys are glad to have Ryan on board, and are very happy for Fieldy and his family's new arrival."
Korn's European tour will take the band through Russia, Germany, Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic and other Eastern European stops.
After that, Korn is next scheduled to co-headline the ShipRocked 2012 cruise with Godsmack. That boat ride will feature performances from Five Finger Death Punch, P.O.D., Sevendust and more.
Korn frontman will also be on the road this fall as his electronic alter ego, JDevil, when he opens for Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson on their Twins Of Evil tour.
