Call Me No One, the side project formed by Sevendust guitarist Clint Lowery and drummer Morgan Rose, made its live debut on Friday night (July 27th) in Fort Wayne, Indiana as the band kicked off a tour with Nonpoint. Call Me No One played a 40-minute set consisting of eight songs, with no Sevendust material included. Lowery, who also handles lead vocals for the group, dedicated the show to his late father, writing on Twitter, "This one for u pops!!"
Following the gig, Lowery tweeted, "Just finished first Call Me No One show -- man that was crazy. Heads still spinning. Got a lot to improve on but we got through."
The band released its debut disc, Last Parade, on June 5th.
Joining Lowery and Rose in the lineup are Rek Mohr on bass and Alan Price on guitar. Call Me No One next plays on Tuesday night (July 31st) in Covington, Kentucky.
Sevendust itself will enter the studio on September 5th to begin recording its ninth album. The band will also perform this fall aboard the Shiprocked cruise from November 27th to December 1st alongside Godsmack, Five Finger Death Punch, P.O.D. and others.
