Up-and-coming rockers Dead Sara will hit the road for a North American tour as openers for the Offspring, beginning on August 31st in Detroit. Neon Trees will join the lineup on September 6th in Boston. The trek will also include stops at several festival dates, including the Sunset Strip Music Festival in Los Angeles in late August. Dead Sara is touring in support of its self-titled debut album, which features the chart-climbing first single, "Weatherman."

Dead Sara singer Emily Armstrong told us that even though the band is touring its first album, it's already working on new material at soundchecks: "We're just so inspired to write more stuff. I mean, we're playing the same songs night after night. So it's exciting, you know, when we get a little bit of time and somebody just starts going, and we start going and going and going, and we press record on our iPhones and it's very exciting. But then we have to stop."

Offspring frontman Dexter Holland said about Dead Sara, "We're super excited to have Dead Sara out on tour with us. Great players, great songs. We'll be getting there early to see them tear it up."
