Pearl Jam "superfan" Brian Farias was given the chance to choose the band's setlist for a show in Amsterdam, Holland, according to RollingStone.com. Farias, who has been to 108 Pearl Jam shows throughout his life, was a fan of the group since its earliest days, before it even had the name Pearl Jam. He was even a member of the fan club for Mother Love Bone, the late Eighties act from Seattle that was the immediate predecessor to Pearl Jam.

Farias was selected by Pearl Jam's fan organization, Ten Club, to attend two shows in Amsterdam and meet the band.

Once there, singer Eddie Vedder gave him the opportunity to make up the setlist for that night's show.

Farias said about making up the show, "It was really stressful because it's something you know is never gonna happen again. You're only getting one shot at it." He said he tried to balance his own personal choices with what the audience would like and what the band was capable of playing.

For the performance itself, Farias said that the group played "90 to 95 percent" of his selections, dropping just a few numbers from the list.

The set included deep cuts like "Alone," rarities like Mother Love Bone's "Crown Of Thorns," hits like "Alive" and "Daughter," and Farias' own personal oddity, "Bugs," which Vedder agreed to sing despite not having an accordion handy to recreate the studio version. Farias was also invited onstage to take the closing bow with the band, which he said "didn't seem real."

Pearl Jam's European tour concludes on Tuesday (July 10th) in Denmark, with the band next playing at a pair of festivals in the U.S. in late September.
