Members of 3 Doors Down and Kid Rock's band have teamed up in a new outfit called 7dayBinge, according to a press release. The group features Todd Harrell of 3 Doors Down on bass and Kenny Olson of Kid Rock's Twisted Brown Trucker Band on lead guitar, along with Jon Nicholson of Muzik Mafia on guitar and Shannon Boone on drums. The band will release its self-titled debut album digitally on December 8th, with a physical version arriving on January 26th, 2010.

Harrell said in the press release, "I'm really excited about the Binge album coming out. It's been a lot of fun working with these guys and watching it all come together. The energy is awesome and I can't wait for our fans to hear it."

7daysBinge plans to tour in support of the eight-song record, with dates yet to be announced.

The band came together when Nicholson opened for 3 Doors Down on a European tour, during which Harrell and Nicholson began working on some music together.

An early gig by the outfit in Biloxi, Mississippi, before Boone joined, featured 3 Doors Down frontman Brad Arnold behind the kit.
