3 Doors Down continues to have success with its single "Let Me Be Myself," which appears on the group's 2008 studio album. The ballad has reached even more people thanks to its affiliation with the insurance company Geico. The music video follows around the Geico caveman character, who runs away from a party after not fitting in. Singer Brad Arnold tells us that the song came together very quickly one night when he was hanging out with 3 Doors Down guitarist Chris Henderson: "We were just sitting outside where we recorded our last record at a house. And I kind of had that lick in my head a little bit and Chris had been playing it for the last few days. And sometimes the least amount of stress and the most relaxed I think sometimes for me I write better lyrics. We were just sitting there playing, and Chris got to playing that part. We wrote those words in like 10 minutes. I was like, 'Man, I think that's one of my favorite songs we've ever written.'"
Arnold got married earlier this month.
The group plans to start working on a new album soon.
