Green Day will perform live on the new version of NBC-TV's The Tonight Show, hosted by Conan O'Brien, on Tuesday night (June 2nd) at 11:35 p.m. The punk trio joins Pearl Jam and Chickenfoot as musical guests during the first week of O'Brien's stint as host. Following that, Green Day will play four days in a row on Last Call With Carson Daly, beginning on June 9th and ending on the 12th. That show also airs on NBC, at 1:35 a.m. nightly.
The band is continuing its promotional efforts for its latest album, 21st Century Breakdown, which arrived on May 15th.
In addition to the Tonight Show taping, Green Day will sign autographs at a Hot Topic store in Hollywood on Tuesday night, and are planning a surprise show on Thursday night (June 4th) at the Henry Fonda Theater in Los Angeles.
