Insomniac & B&W present…

STEVE AOKI & DATSIK at the Pageant!

If you are new to electronic music, it can be a bit overwhelming. You’re not sure what you like, what it’s called, and what DJ’s can provide it. Steve Aoki is an excellent artist to get started on!

The sound Aoki brings to the dance floor is as diverse as it is original. #42 on DJ Magazines top 100 DJ’s list, He has collaborated with artists from every corner of the music industry from Good Charlotte, Snoop Dog, Weezer, Drake, Kid Cudi, and Will.I.Am. This is why I believe he is such a good “starter DJ” (if that’s a term). Steve Aoki will introduce you to the sound of house, electro, techno, and Dub, all while including artists that you will be able to recognize. Cause let’s just admit it, we all love to get down to familiar shit, ...

It’s hard to believe it’s that time of the year again. One of the only things that make me look forward to the winter season. WINTER WARPDRIVE…. Mother freaking 7!

Winter warp drive has been one of the biggest electronic dance music parties for the last 6 years. If you have been to one before, you can remember the world famous headliners they bring in every year. Bassnectar, Krafty kuts, Donald Glaud, Infected Mushroom, Eoto, Forest Green, Burufunk, D:fuse, mimosa, and Eddie Halliwell just to name a few. Plus more musical support from all of our amazing Local DJ talent.

This year Panoptic Production’s are bringing it back for the 7th time. Every year the show has gotten bigger and bigger. I have seen the show grow since Winter Warp drive 2. The biggest venue is yet to come this time around at the Family Arena in St. ...

6 minute to The Dark Knight Rises

Posted 1/2/2012 12:34:00 PM

Over the Holiday season if you went to see Mission Impossible 4 Ghost Protocol in select IMAX theaters, you got a special treat before the movie started. A 6 minute long Prologue to Christopher Nolan’s 3rd installment of the Bat Man series. "The Dark Knight Rises". Where you get an introduction to the main Villain Bain.

Now if you’re like me... You love Bat Man, but refuse to handover another $8.50 to Tom Cruise. Sorry Tom, but the last of your movie's I saw in theaters was War of the Worlds, and I don't plan on coming back anytime soon. Thank goodness for the internet and people with cell phones. Because now I have the leaked 6 minute prolog for you to enjoy.
