How badass is this tat / piercing?

| My oncologist told me I was officially cancer free and I wanted to celebrate. I had decided I wanted a butterfly on my lower back. When I got to the studio there weren't any butterflies I liked and the artist said he could draw one but it would take a couple days. I didn't have a couple days so I looked around. Seen this bird and thought it was beautiful and decided to get it. At the time I didn't know it was a "Phoenix". Talk about fate. A friend seen the tat and asked how long I had been into them. Honestly, I didn't even know what it was so I looked it up online. When I read the legend of the bird I got chills. I'm very proud of my tat and the meaning behind it!! |
