Forgiven remix

How badass is this tat / piercing?
|
   | The skeleton figure being held by Jesus is in essence a personalized version of the painting "forgiven" by Thomas Blackshear II. In the original art, the person is representing all of us as responsible for Christ's crucifixion and the emotional turmoil involved in realizing this, and yet despite everything, Jesus has overcome death, forgiven us, and is supporting/comforting us. My personalized touches include the skeleton figure, as I like skeletons, and sometimes feel as if my behavior would be better represented by an uglier figure in this picture than the somewhat pretty guy in the original. The XXX on the shirt is representative of "straightedge" which is a lifestyle free from intoxication, harmful chemical use (smoking etc.), and promiscuity. For me, adopting that lifestyle was a key to helping me think "straight" on a lot of things (been there since 1995). The music is very positive and hard, which I like and still listen to, as most of it is kid-friendly (no songs extolling |
