Beagle's Paw print

How badass is this tat / piercing?
|
| Back of right arm, above elbow |
| My beagle-shitzu mix that I had for my entire childhood was starting to get old when I moved away to college in KCMO. After about a half of a year at school, I got calls from my parents explaining his slow sickness: tumors, arthritis, back problems, losing hair, couldn't eat or use the restroom on his own, couldn't climb the stairs, very itchy, loss of hearing and eye sight, etc.. I was upset, but they called me home to be there to put him to sleep. I had to go back to school until winter break, but once I got back home it was very hard to ignore his missing presence. I decided to get this life-sized tattoo of his paw print, which I got with ink and paper before he passed away, in his memory. I cannot see the tattoo on a daily basis, but I always know my dog Arthur is always with me. The '11 stands for the year he passed, the A. is his initial. The colors were to liven up the tattoo and help it mesh with my other arm tattoo. |
