| I've long dreamed of a phoenix tattoo but didn't want the traditional red/orange flamed bird. I opted instead for an egyptian-style phoenix in black and gray. My artist, Victor Whitmill, gave life to my dream in this beautiful custom piece that has the phoenix's tail taking on an artistic tribal form of it's own. The ankh that the phoenix holds is the ancient egyptian symbol for eternal life. |
