| Mercury is the Roman god of transportation (messenger god). I am really into hot rods & custom cars so Mercury was a good way to identify that for me. Below his chin is a well known automotive V8 logo which is all surrounded by filigree that was copied out of my family crest. I wanted to have meaning in my artwork which my first one did not have. This tattoo covers up a tribal design on my shoulder and some running down the back of my arm (the last pic is the tribal before it was covered with Mercury). Check out Mo at Iron Age. |
