The Angel who Wept

Current Rating

How badass is this tat / piercing?
|
| "The Angel who Wept" is a poem I wrote that marks the start of my healing process from what I consider to be the lowest point of my life. It's hard to see in the photo, but she does have a tear in her eye. It's a custom piece meant to represent built-up sadness, a lack of self-esteem, and at the same time a feeling of genuine self-worth. My tattoos are like marks on a timeline. The first was at the start of this period, the second at my lowest point, and my angel is my recovery from it. My next tattoo will mark the beginning of "the rest of my life." |
