| The phoenix was my first tattoo. When I was 15 I started messing around with some drugs and partying, I started messing around with painkillers and Heroin. Before I knew it I was hooked. I got this tattoo when I got my first full time job and had a year sober under my belt. The phoenix was to represent my rebirth as a positive, productive citizen of society. It also represents me changing from an addict into the son, brother, uncle, and friend I needed to be to those around me. It was my first tat and holds a very special place in my heart. I'm 6 years sober now. |
