How badass is this tat / piercing?
|
| There is a lot to the significance and meaning of this to ever begin to truly explain it. It is partially a tribute to my cousin whom died of a brain tumor while in prison. A few weeks prior he found God and was wanting to turn his life around. Though his untimely death hindered him of ever knowing true freedom of his past... It is also a constant reminder to me as to what life really is. It's a constant struggle; we can't give up when things get tough. We have to endure. It also represents the obvious that we all have our demons to battle... There are other deep personal reasons why I absolutely had to have this as my first tattoo... even before the barbed wire necklace and roses I'm gonna be getting for my daughter... It took my artist three months to perfect the drawing before he would even attempt to touch me. I went in on 4 different occasions (often times amidst icy roads). Even the journey to get the tattoo had it's share of struggles... |
