On Friday, April 20th, Point listener Nicole Allen was killed in a car accident. While in a car with friends, sitting at a stop light, they were rear-ended by a drunk driver doing about 50-60MPH. Nicole was sitting in the rear seat and was killed instantly.
Nicole was a fun-loving, sweet girl who was studying photography at UMSL. She loved listening to the Point, and had already bought her tickets for this year's Pointfest. She loved the music, she loved the people, and she loved life.
Although Nicole couldn't be at Pointfest, 105.7 the Point dedicates this year's Pointfest in her memory.
In Nicole's honor, her family has set up a foundation in her name to provide a scholarship for a photography student attending UMSL.
