Jam for Joplin at Kiener Plaza will be held on June 26th. Over 20 musicial acts, live art, dancers, games and a whole lot more. It's free and all ages. All the proceeds go to Joplin for their long recovery they have ahead of them: Bands include:

Well, I have been a little behind on updating my blog. Oh yeah, it's pretty much been pure laziness. I have been busy photographing shows and there are still many more on the horizon.
Danzig Wouldn't Let Me Photograph His Show
The Danzig show was pretty good but not the best I have seem him. Tommy Victor and Johnny Kelley kicked ass on their instruments but Danzig sure did bitch a lot. I find that shit very annoying when a front man is whiney and bitchy at shows. PLUS, he didn't allow any photographers to photograph his show....not even the opening act could be photographed when Danzig is in the building. They made you turn off your cell phones too so you wouldn't take any camera phone pics either. But it's his show, his stage and he can be a douche if he wants to. Just stop bitching on stage ...

The legendary Danzig returns to St. Louis at Pop's in Sauget, IL with Devildriver Wednesday May 25th. BackBeat-Photography will hopefully get a photo pass to document this show! I'll let you know after the show and will share the link to see the photos.
